1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using any Tip Top Drivers application or website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Tip Top Drivers.
2. About the Platform
Tip Top Drivers operates a technology platform that connects businesses and individuals who need professional drivers with verified, trained drivers available to fulfil those requests.
We provide two mobile applications:
- Tip Top Driver App — for registered professional drivers to receive and manage bookings
- Tip Top B2B Client App — for registered business clients (vendors) and their staff to create and manage bookings
Tip Top Drivers acts as a platform intermediary. We do not directly employ drivers as employees; however, all drivers on our platform are verified, trained, and held to strict standards of conduct.
3. Eligibility
To use our services you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age For Driver App
- Provide accurate, truthful information during registration
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law
Additional requirements for drivers:
- Hold a valid, current driving licence for the vehicle category driven
- Maintain valid vehicle insurance (where applicable)
- Pass our background verification process
Additional requirements for B2B clients:
- Be a registered business or authorised representative thereof
- Provide a valid business address and contact details
4. Accounts & Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Keep your password secure and not share it with any other person
- Notify us immediately at baskaran.j@raaassociate.com if you suspect unauthorised access
- Ensure all information on your profile is accurate and up to date
- Not create accounts using false identities or on behalf of others without authorisation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised or are being used fraudulently.
5. Driver Terms
5.1 Onboarding
All drivers must complete our 6-step registration process, which includes identity verification, document submission (driving licence, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details), and background screening. Only approved applicants may operate as drivers on our platform.
5.2 Obligations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date profile information, vehicle details, and documents
- Accept and complete assigned bookings professionally and on time
- Treat all clients with courtesy, respect, and professionalism
- Comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Keep the vehicle clean and in roadworthy condition
- Not use the app or accept bookings while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Grant and maintain the background location permission on your device during active trips
5.3 Online / Offline Status
Drivers may set themselves online or offline within the app. Bookings are only assigned to drivers who are both enabled by an administrator and online. Drivers should not go offline mid-trip unless there is an emergency.
5.4 Earnings & Payouts
Driver earnings are calculated based on trip distance and the applicable pricing tier in effect at the time of the booking. Payouts are processed by our operations team on a schedule communicated within the app. We reserve the right to adjust earnings for incomplete or disputed trips.
6. B2B Client Terms
- Clients must provide accurate pickup addresses, scheduled times, and vehicle details for each booking
- Clients are responsible for ensuring the correct person or vehicle is available at the pickup location
- Clients may manage employee sub-accounts (vendor employees) for booking management — they are responsible for their employees' conduct on the platform
- Treat all drivers with courtesy and professionalism
- Not request services that are illegal or that involve transporting prohibited items
7. Bookings
7.1 Creating a Booking
Clients create bookings through the B2B Client App by specifying the trip type, pickup address, destination, vehicle details, and scheduled time. Our assignment engine automatically matches eligible drivers to bookings.
7.2 Booking Statuses
A booking progresses through several statuses from creation to completion: Scheduled → Assigned → Accepted → In Progress → Completed → Audited. Both parties can view the current status in real time within their respective apps.
7.3 Cancellations
Bookings may be cancelled before the driver has reached the pickup location. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee, as communicated within the app. Tip Top Drivers reserves the right to cancel bookings in cases of force majeure or operational constraints, with reasonable notice.
7.4 No-Shows
If a client is not present at the pickup location within the waiting period specified in-app, the driver may mark a no-show. A no-show charge may apply.
8. Payments & Pricing
- Trip fares are calculated based on actual distance travelled and the pricing tier applicable at the time of booking
- Pricing is transparent — the estimated fare is shown before booking confirmation
- Payment for completed trips is due as per the billing arrangement agreed between the client and Tip Top Drivers
- B2B clients may be billed on a monthly or per-trip basis depending on their account type
- We reserve the right to revise pricing with 14 days' advance notice
9. Location Consent (Driver App)
By using the Tip Top Driver App and accepting a booking, drivers expressly consent to the collection of their precise GPS location continuously in the background for the duration of the active trip. This consent is required to operate the service and may be withdrawn by marking yourself offline or closing the app — doing so will prevent further active-trip tracking.

10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Provide false information at registration or at any point during use of the platform
- Share your login credentials with any other person
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any other user, driver, or staff member
- Attempt to manipulate the assignment system, fares, or ratings
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of our apps
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code into our systems
- Use the platform to solicit or arrange business outside of Tip Top Drivers' platform
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where appropriate.
11. Limitation of Liability
Tip Top Drivers operates as a technology intermediary platform. While we take significant steps to verify and train drivers, we are not the employer of drivers and cannot guarantee the outcome of every trip.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from actions of drivers or clients during a trip
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platform
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the value of the booking in question
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and intellectual property on the Tip Top Drivers platform belong to Tip Top Drivers or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
By uploading content (such as photos) to our platform, you grant Tip Top Drivers a non-exclusive licence to use that content for the purpose of providing the service.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the account relationship at any time. Drivers may request account deletion via the in-app deletion request (Home screen → "Request Account Deletion"), by email, or by phone. See our Account Deletion page for full instructions and what happens to your data.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts without notice in cases of:
- Breach of these Terms & Conditions
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Behaviour that endangers drivers, clients, or third parties
- Non-payment of amounts owed
On termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Outstanding amounts remain payable. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification and by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page. Changes take effect 14 days after notice unless you choose to terminate your account within that period.
Continued use of our services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
